Serving the towns of Coyanosa and Imperial and surrounding area. Our drinking water is obtained from ground water sources. It comes from the Cenozoic Pecos Alluvium aquifer. Our wells originate near Coyanosa in northern Pecos County, Texas. The main line runs easterly to and around Imperial, Texas (see map).

In order to set up an account with Pecos County Fresh Water, a tap or connection must be approved, an application filled out and signed, and a $250.00 deposit paid. Customers should read the complete Policies and Procedures and Drought Contingency Plan. Both Reports are available on this site, at the Imperial Public Library in Imperial, Texas; the Coyanosa Library in Coyanosa, Texas; Pecos County Precinct #4 in Fort Stockton, Texas or by contacting the bookkeeping department for a copy. Current rates are base of $18.00 for up to the first 2000 gallons, and $2.00 per thousand gallons thereafter.
